Engines

The core of the Volvo FMX powertrains is either our D11 step E engine range (330 hp, 380 hp, 430 hp or 460 hp) or the D13 step E engine range (420 hp, 460 hp, 500 hp or 540 hp). You can run them all on either diesel or HVO. Want to run on biodiesel? There are special versions that make it possible. Want a powerful all-electric Volvo FMX? We have that too. I-Shift

Every gear change is perfectly timed – automatically. A range of software packages lets you tailor the I-Shift for your needs. For the Volvo FMX, you can also get your I-Shift with crawler gears or with the I-Shift Dual Clutch.
